TINY, WATER-POWERED SUMP PUMP
Now there's a mini sump pump that uses water pressure to discharge more than 200 gallons of water per hour. Made of polypropylene, the 4-inch-long Drainout costs $11.95, uses no batteries and has no moving parts to wear out.
To use, connect the pump to two garden hoses; then, submerge it in the water to be siphoned. Attach one hose to a cold-water faucet. When you turn the faucet on, the water pressure activates the pump, which discharges water through the second hose.
